Forms Online:

  • Return/Refund Policy: Try before you buy: No refunds are permitted for our Forms Online products.

Windows desktop products:

  • Return/Refund Policy: Try before you buy: for our Windows desktop installed programs, returns and refunds allowed only until you activate the software on first licensed computer, but in no event after 30 days from the order date. Shipping and handling charges, if any, are not refundable. There are no refunds for our Forms Online products.
  • Product Activation: Unless an order is placed and accepted for a site license, one or more single-computer license(s) will be issued in the quantity that you order. Under single-computer licenses, a unique code will be issued for each licensed computer. Each code will be valid only on the one computer for which it is issued. Each computer is identified by a System ID plus the computer name and hard disk serial number as reported by your operating system. If that information reported by your operating system changes, a new access/activation code will be required. See below for our policy on transfers and reissues and related support charge, if applicable.
  • Restrictions on Transfer; Access and Activation Code Reissues; Charges:

A new access/activation code will be required for a license transfer to another computer; or if the program's access/activation information stored on your system is missing or damaged due to system malfunction or otherwise, or if changes to your operating system settings, hardware or files on your system that store program activation information differ from the program access/activation information previously saved to your system.

With our subscription packages, there is no charge for the first transfer or access/activation code reissue per customer and there is also no charge to transfer or code reissue at the time a renewal order is placed for the particular license.

For our subscription products: additional transfers or access/activation code reissues, if approved by Alta Star, carry a support charge of $19.00.  A transfer or code reissue does not extend a subscription period.

For our non-subscription products: the first and subsequent transfers or access/activation code reissues carry a support charge of $19 each.

Alta Star reserves the right to limit license transfers or code reissues.

You agree to comply with rules and requirements of any form copyright holder. If forms are updated, you agree to use replacement software/forms, and to destroy out-of-date versions.
